I facilitate spaces using a variety of tools (World Cafe, Open Space, Dynamic Facilitation, Deep Democracy) where everyone is invited to participate and in which every voice is valued. I'm sensitive to the needs of a group and make sure that marginalised voices and perspectives are included so that the collective outcomes reflect what is beneficial for the whole.
DYNAMIC FACILITATION
This particular facilitation method is one that I draw on extensively as it helps people address and solve difficult, impossible-seeming issues, through thinking, talking, and work together collaboratively and creatively.
I have received extensive training in this method by its founders, Jim and Jean Rough, to facilitate group discussions on important issues. Deep divisions and opposing viewpoints are not seen as obstacles in this process which values every participant's contribution, elicits engagement and the emergence of solutions that work for everyone.
